Delivery methods and costs, along with import duties, customs fees and taxes can be confusing.

The policies and prices set by Customs, Governments, and delivery companies can also change regularly without notice.

We have put together some general information here to try and assist you. If you have any questions about delivery options and costs, please feel free to email us at store@anyabrock.com and we will get back to you asap.

INSURANCE

All of our artworks are sent insured for replacement. Your shipping fees will include the insurance. The insurance costs are typically between $2.30 and $3.30 per $100 insured value.

CARRIERS

We use a combination of shipping carriers to try to bring you the most reliable carriers at the most reasonable prices. They include UPS, Australia Post, Pack and Send and the Interparcel Courier Network incl. Toll,  TNT.

SHIPPING PRICE

As Anya Brock is a stand alone artist, not a large company, we can not afford to cover the shipping price on orders.

In many cases we end up absorbing a small portion of the packaging and postage costs.

The customer pays the majority of the shipping costs.

CANVAS and PAPER Prints:

HS Code 4911.91.00

Canvas Prints are sent out from Edgewater WA 6027 Australia.

Small paper prints are sent flat packed in foam core.

All other prints are sent rolled in an Art Box.

If you purchase a combined order we will pack items together wherever possible to save you on shipping costs. Some items may need to be packed separately.

We select from UPS, Australia Post, Toll or the Interparcel courier network.

We print to order. Fulfillment typically takes between 2 - 14 working days.

Shipping can take between 5 - 20 working days.

Unfortunately we cannot ship to PO Boxes.

To keep things simple, we apply fixed price shipping based on locations, package sizes and product types.

We don't want you to pay more than what it costs us to pack and send your items.

If the automatically applied shipping rates seem high at checkout, please email us with your intended purchase and shipping address and we will get a quote and adjust the price if required.

You can get a shipping price by entering your address at the checkout. Your shipping price will be calculated and displayed before you need to commit to your purchase.

Print orders may incur import taxes, duties and charges.
Anya Brock Pty Ltd does not add these to the cost of your order.
They are government fees applied by customs on arrival.
To find out about these costs please check with your country of residence.

Delivery Methods and Price Estimates for Paintings:

De-stretched and Rolled in Art Tube (not available on framed paintings)

To ship larger artworks (100cm long and above) internationally as a ready to hang is expensive.

To bring the price of shipping down, we offer a rolled canvas delivery.

In this process, we remove the painting from its stretcher bars and send it rolled in an art tube. We do not charge a de-stretching fee.

If you choose to have the artwork sent de-stretched and rolled in an artube, we only send the rolled painting. The package will not include any stretcher bars.

You will need to take the painting to your framer of choice to be stretched when it arrives.

The cost of re-stretching the painting is not covered by Anya Brock Pty Ltd.

You will need to pay your framer directly for re-stretching.

Please contact your framer for a quote.

To assess what option is cheapest, compare the following prices:

  1. Shipping the de-stretched rolled artwork plus the re-stretching fee as quoted by your framer.
  2. Cost of shipping the stretched ready to hang artwork.

If your order is liable for taxes and duties, Customs often applies the taxes to your shipping costs as well as your artwork cost. Choosing a cheaper shipping option may also save you on taxes.

Here is a link to a free online DUTIES CALCULATOR TOOL.

You can use this as a guide to estimate duties  and taxes you may be liable for.

Other processing fees are sometimes added on top of the Taxes and Duty. The Duties Calculator does not include customs processing fees. These vary across countries and states.

Please note that this tool is not affiliated with Anya Brock Pty Ltd in any way and we can not guarantee its accuracy.

The most accurate way to find out the duties and charges is to contact the customs office in the country you are importing to.

GST/VAT or other Taxes are typically a percentage added to your total purchase price. Here is a sample formula used by some states:

(Artwork Price + Shipping and Insurance + Duty) x Tax % = Total tax payable

Duty + total tax payable + processing fees = total payable to customs

Here is a summary of the taxes and charges listed on some countries' Customs websites current on the 5th February 2022.
